Learn to Skate at the Palouse Ice Rink

About Learn to Skate

Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced recreational skater, come improve your skills and fitness with Learn to Skate!  Our courses are run under the guidelines of USFS Basic Skills Program.  This program has been developed to provide a strong base of skating skills and techniques that will provide you with a lifetime of skating enjoyment, and can lead you on to more challenging disciplines like dance, synchronized, speed, hockey, or figure skating!

Registration for the first session of 2011-2012

The first session of LTS for the season begins on Saturday January 14th.  The class will cost $78 for six instructional sessions and includes a punch pass for five free Public Skate sessions so you or your child can practice what they've learned (a $25 value.)  Classes will be held on Saturdays starting at 12:00 or 12:30pm (classes will be sorted prior the first day).  Registration for the first session runs from now and until the end of the day on Thursday January 12th.  Sign up early as class sizes are limited.  Click here for a Registration Form.  Simply fill out the form and mail it with your check made out to Palouse Hills Skating Club, or bring it in to the rink.  VISA/MasterCard are accepted at the rink.

Lesson Scholarships

There are a small number of scholarships available for Learn to Skate lessons.  For more information, or to find out if you qualify, please contact Rink Manager Bryan Hawn at the Palouse Ice Rink.
